I have always used A/S in our aircrafts. Never had any issues.

This stuff is super oily.

When I purchased my plane it had 580 hours on the engine. During an inspection, a fair amount of corrosion was found, requiring an overhaul. This is why I stick to straight weight oils and wont ever use Phillips.

Have been using this oil for a long time and Ive always had great results with it. The cost per quart is affordable and most of the Aircraft Ive flown have used this oil with no complaints.

Like the oil... oil is oil, so cheaper is best. Aviation engines cant really take advantage of the benefits of synthetic oil unless you have a turbo-charger. The temps are low and the use period is short. Those gallon jugs wont rest upside down in my funnel though. I like to let the bottle drain for a while just to minimize the amount of oil that goes into the landfill. Its hard with the gallons.

I have used this oil for years. It is great for breaking in and for any type of operation. I dont have to switch during the winter and summer and it meets OEM specs. But its a little lower-cost doesnt hurt either.

I believe I ordered a single case of oil. However, two cases were shipped. Im not sure whether the extra case was a mistake taking my order, or a mistake when it was packaged. If the second case was paid for, then that is fine. Ill put it to good use. If it was shipped by mistake, please make arrangements for me to pay for it. Its sticky and makes a mess on the bottom of my airplane. They need a smart oil that turns to polished wax when it contacts painted surfaces.

I was a little disappointed in this purchase. The oil had been re boxed and oil was leaking from one or more of the 1 quart containers into the plastic bag used as internal packaging.

2 of 8 gallon containers were leaking causing a huge mess. I donâ??t have an answer to this problem because cases were sealed from factory

Thereâ??s no foil seal or â??lockâ?? ring on the cap. So two of the caps backed off and leaked oil all over the inside of the box and all over products. There needs to be SOME kind of seal on the containers.

Switched to Phillips since Aeroshell stopped selling oil in 12 count cases and changed their bottles. The Phillips bottles are a much better design not to mention the oil is a lot cheaper.

Been in Aircraft Maintenance full time for 50 years. Have seen different oils come and go. This is the best oil ever for Airplane Piston Engines.

Have been running oil in my Lycoming since Iâ??ve owned it and couldnâ??t be happier. The occasional leak and messy belly are the trade-offs but would definitely recommend over running no oil at all. Two thumbs up.

This is a good all season semi-synthetic. It was recommended by my mechanic and seems to work as advertised.

I settled in this oil after some issues with other brands. It seems to do a great job of suspending the lead sludge we all get from 100LL.

I like the gallon bottles for oil change time. You get a 4 for 1 in uncapping. Its not really cheaper per ounce, but its convenient.

The oil arrived quickly and at a great price since I purchased in bulk and got free shipping. However, one of the gallon jugs did leak out into the box but when I called the company they were more than happy to replace it.

In the case of oil, one of the lids was not completely capped and about 1/4 of the quart leaked into the box. Case was smoked and packing paper within.

I purchased a case of Phillips 66 x/c 20w 50 from AC Spruce and it was ground shipped. On opening the box and removing the case of oil I found that the box was saturated with oil. The case was undamaged and had never been opened. I found one Qt. container had a cross threaded cap and three others were loose. It was a real mess. You absolutely have to put labels on the outside of the shipping box saying THIS SIDE UP. Needless to say, Im going to go back to buying oil locally. The few dollars I saved didnt come close to worth it. As for the oil itself. Its Oil. It does what its supposed to.
