These are better than I had hoped for! Once adjusted correctly they are very quiet even in the Cessna 185. I havenâ??t tried them in the Beaver yet. The Bluetooth works better than Zulus as does the mic. There is a slight hum that Zulus donâ??t have but Bose do. All day even with sunglasses are super comfy and non-fatiguing. Donâ??t have that pinched temple and overheated ear feeling that over the ears do after long flights. Only demerit I have is that noise canceling doesnâ??t turn on automatically with radio on. Batteries last long with auto shutdown. Music is clearer on Zulus and Bose but sounds really good. Very satisfied! |

Between multiple David Clark and Bose Headsets this is most comfortable that Ive ever used. Theyre very light and exert almost no pressure on your ears so I havent had any discomfort using them 5+ hours at a time. I like these better than the over-the-ear variety because wearing sunglasses does not break the seal. |

I have always struggled with getting my kids to wear headsets on my airplanes. I have Bose A20s and Bose X on board but my kids complain that they are too heavy and bulky and most of the time just take them off. I had my son try the David Clark Pro Xs and he loved them. They are very lightweight and the noise cancelling works very well. They are not as quiet as the Bose but finding something that the kids will wear that also allows them to connect to their iPods / iPads is fantastic. I highly recommend them. |

This is the best fitting, most comfortable headset I have ever worn. I fly a Grumman AA5 and even with the canopy open I can still hear ATC clearly. The noise canceling seams to work better when its plugged in and the engine running then it does in the living room. My wife used this set on our way back from Orlando last week and she won't give it back now. I guess I will be buying another set. I have heard lots of negative things about the older DC ANR headsets. This is in a league of its own. It may not be as quiet as the Bose but it is higher quality and more comfortable. |

My Sennheiser HMEC 45's died after 10 years of faithful sevice, so the search was on... I tried the Bose A20, excellent also, but didn't like the full size headset in the Challenger 300, but it was great in my Champ! They also where almost too quiet in the jet, couldn't hear the engines at all, or the guy next to me if he took his headset off. Then I tried the Sennheiser HMEC 26-2-T, they sounded great, great mic, good noise cancelling, but they just didn't like my head much for some reason... These David Clarks are much better for me, the noise cancelling about the same as the Senns, but of course not as quiet as the Bose, but for me it is perfect in the jet, and adequate even in the Champ. The comfort is far better than the Sennheisers, and so much lighter than the Bose. The bluetooth just works, like it should, and for both phone and music from my Google Nexus phone... even made a call from the Champ! Over all I am very happy with this headset, and heartily recommend it. |

Just purchased the Pro X and used them for a trip from SRQ to Key West in my Archer. At first I wasn't too impressed with the sound attenuation but after fiddling with them a bit I dicovered that I had them sitting too high on my ears. Once I had them adjusted properly, I thought they were great. I hardly knew I had them on and my sunglasses did not interfere with the seal! |

Bought the DC Pro X at OSH and am very satisfied with the ENR and the clarity. The high fidelity sound from the speakers makes my music sound great during those cross country flights. These are my first ENR headsets and I am having trouble relearning to land the airplane because it gets so quiet when I reduce power. Almost weird! The only problem I have experienced is that they don't connect to my Android phone as easily as my other blue tooth devices. Other than that minor annoyance (which is probably my old phone!) I love them! |

By far the finest lightweight headset I've used yet. IMHO superior comfort and quality to Sennheiser and Bose. And the bluetooth function for ipod (not that I've ever used this while flying, of course :) works wonderfully. Highly recommend! |

THese headsets work just fine. I am a 737 pilot for a major airline and my only grip is the flashing green light when these things are in operation. One would think DC could come up with a better way of indicating the operation of the headset inseat of having my entire cockpit pulsate in the green hue of the on light. A very small LED would have sufficed. Otherwise, they are a great headset and very comfortable. |

This is a great headset, and a great value compared to the Bose and Lightspeed alternatives. I bought it for use at work in a Lear 35, but it works surprisingly well in my Piper Cherokee. It cancels out a lot of noise in both piston and jet aircraft, and it is very light and comfortable. The bluetooth is a great feature the only issue is that everyone on the intercom will hear you when making cell phone calls. There should be a way to automatically or manually isolate the outbound audio. |

Bought this for my wife who had tried numerous other ENC headsets. She found the it lightweight & comfortable: a keeper! Compared to some very expensive noise cancelling NC may not be to the level of latest model (still very good), but $400 less, and more comfortable! Bought the headset after a long time contemplating and being discouraged by other pilot friends. Was impressed with the quality of the noise cancelling and the light weight. However, that's where my happiness with it ended. The first thing I tried was the Bluetooth with my phone. I was told that the quality was good during a test phone call but music sounded scratchy and tin-can-ey. I found out that I hate on-ear headsets especially wearing it over a long work day. Contrary to what DC advertises, my ears became very sore and hot wearing it. Also, the design makes it very top-heavy, so (because the clamping force is so small) every time I would look down to change frequencies or do paperwork it would slide forward on my head. I would have to regularly press the earphones on to my head to maintain noise cancelling quality. Moral of the story is that I hated it and returned it. I splurged the extra for a Bose A20 and will never look back. Sorry, DC. I loved my X11, but it can't beat a Bose. If they had the technology of the pro-x in an over-ear headset like the X11, I'd own it. Otherwise, I'm a Bose convert. |

Not for piston aircraft! Excellent at everything except its purpose (noise cancellation/suppression). Hands down the loudest headset I have ever experienced in a piston cockpit, not useable. One trip around the patch with this headset and its back in the box and on the way back. Thank goodness for DC money back guarantee! Quality, fit, finish, comfort all superb and very impressive, but again not for piston aircraft as there is absolutely no passive noise suppression and a very small amount of active noise reduction. $100 Ebay headsets that roll around in the baggage compartment provide far more noise reduction. DC please advise customers these are not for piston aircraft. Test flight in a Cessna Cardinal. |
