- Avionics products manufactured by ACK Technologies, Inc. are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from their manufacture date. This warranty is limited exclusively to repair or replacement of the E-04 ELT and associated parts which were manufactured by ACK Technologies, Inc. the defective parts must be returned freight prepaid to our manufacturing facility. This warranty does not include repair or replacement of any part that has been improperly used, installed or physically damaged. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by chemical exposure. Discharge of the ELT lithium battery is not covered by this or any other warranty. My 20+ year old 30.3 started reporting incorrectly. Read the reviews and noted this was plug-n-play. Swapped out the unit, pinouts the same, mounting tray the same, done! A&P signed off the swap and altitude is correct again. |

I bought a new ACK A-30.5 yesterday, I bought it to replace my older ACK A-30. I checked the pins and I have power at pin 8 and ground on pin 15 So I plugged it in hooked up to the old pitostatic and tested it. It tested perfectly! So it was basically plug-and-play. Could not have been easier, if ACK has worked for the last 30 years on my plane it will work for the next 30 years. |
