BREYDEN POLYESTER LACING TAPES
Flat braided tape manufactured from 100% high tenacity, continuous filament polyester fiber. This product conforms to the requirements of A-A-52081-C-3 MIL-T-43435B; Type II, Size 3, Finish C.

The tape is uniformly impregnated with a synthetic elastomer coating to improve knot holding and tying characteristics. Ideal for spot tying. 500 yd. rolls. Width: .085? (Â±10%); Thickness: .014? (Â±.003?); Tensile Strength: 50 Lb. (min.); Elongation: 40% (max.)

BREYDEN NYLON LACING TAPES
Flat braided tape manufactured from 100% high tenacity, continuous filament nylon yarn. This tape is impregnated with a specially formulated microcrystalline, fungicidal wax. Conforms to the requirements of A-A-52080-B-3.

Ellis M 11.04.2019	Far superior to cable ties, except it takes a little longer. When you see an aircraft with wires secured with lacing, you know someone who really cares and took the extra time maintains it. Wont scratch and cut you, either, like a poorly cut off cable tie.
Kent F 14.02.2019	It works as you want it to. I got the polyester, it has a temperature range of -100 to 350F. I use the constrictor hitch, topped with a square knot. I replaced all the tie-wraps.

Hc 14.06.2018	Product is easy to use and performs as advertised. I found it is impossible to determine which material is more appropriate for wire-lacing a wiring harness in a wing nylon or polyester. I called Breyden and posed the same question to them and they didnt have an answer either. Polyester has a slightly wider operating temperature range, and has the property of being self-extinguishing. It has about the same breaking strength as nylon in this application. I guess the bottom line is it doesnt matter which you pick nylon, polyester, black, or natural color. I ultimately chose polyester only because of the operating temperature range, because I could find no other justification to choose one material type over the other.
