Overview

P/S 890 Class B is an aircraft integral fuel tank sealant. It has a service temperature range from - 65Â°F (-54Â°C) to 250Â°F (121Â°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275Â°F (135Â°C). This material is designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.

P/S 890 Class B is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

Randy W 21.06.2019	I tested thinning the proseal with MEK to the consistency of thin soup and it cured indistinguishably from the undiluted proseal. The thinned proseal is much easier to apply in my opinion. Great product.

James M 08.12.2019	I wanted a kit with one container with base and one with hardener so that I could measure out and mix small amounts to seal leaks, and then have material to do that again next time I found a leak. I got the single use tube that mixes inside the tube and has to be all used at one time. It would be nice if this site told you which you were getting. If they are all the single use tubes then you should remove the two container kit from the picture. Ive used Pro-seal before and it worked well so this is not a complaint about Pro-seal.
Larry 26.03.2020	I am rating aircraft spruce as I have not yet used the product. The product description and information on the web site was the same for kit, pint or quart. I thought I was buying 6 oz kit with a dispenser and two separate containers of sealant and hardener to be mixed (10/1) as needed for my project. What I got was a kit in a applicator that had to be mixed and used within 2 hour or wasted. The product may be good but totally inappropriate for my project (single use). I explained the problem and requested a return label twice last week but have had no response. This product plus shipping is just too expensive to just forget about it. I have ordered a Lodi from ACS and most of the time they have been good, but this time they did not live up to expectation.
Michael T 15.04.2020	I have used this product for many years. If you buy the tube pull the dasher rod out of the tube and unscrew it from the little mixer inside. Pop the plunger in the rod up with a pick and you can then measure out the amount you need separately from the rod which holds the catalyst and using a screwdriver handle to push the plastic plunger in the tube. Hope this helps Mike
