Overview

This popular rivet gun set is used in aircraft manufacturing plants worldwide. The "X" series rivet gun has an incomparable teasing triggers, allowing you to slowly begin riveting without damaging the skin. It has a lightweight aluminum handle with powder coat finish for comfort. Also features a hardened and precision ground steel piston, cylinder and spool valve for long life. The brass regulator and air tool fitting are directly assembled to the rivet gun for your convenience.

Edwin W 13.09.2019	I was pleasantly surprised how nice this gun is. It has a very smooth action and is very easy to regulate from a tap, tap, tap to a full on barrage. The case is also a nice plus.
Randy K 22.06.2019	I was tempted to penalize one star because it took two months for rivet gun order to be delivered . . . but thats not fair to the product itself. I am totally pleased with the 2x rivet gun. It is very well made and easy to use. The kit came with everything I need. It produces outstanding results. As far as the product goes, I couldnt be happier.

Peter 16.09.2018	Just tried it on a few rivets to start out with. Im not using it on aircraft but on decorative sheet metal work. So far I love it. It feels very solid and well made. Even my first few tries I got acceptable results and I can see where practice makes perfect.

Jeffrey P 07.12.2017	Never had a rivet gun before. Info on this site suggested a 2X gun. This one can rivet larger rivets. I will probably only use smaller ones such as 1/8 diameter. Video on YouTube compared 2x and 3x. I like this one more. I understand most people buy the 3x. My A&P said its a larger piston stroke. So the pointy part is longer. In the video this one sounded like it could handle the rivets better. 2x probably OK if you are only going to use smaller rivets. If you have a situation where you have to go larger than the 1/8 rivet (shaft diameter), MS20470AD4. Notice on the other Red Rivet gun set, the air regulator is not attached and you have to remove it to put the gun in the case. Buy this one, not the one for about $20 less.

Linda 20.03.2020	So happy I found this kit. I am renovating a vintage airstream and couldnÃ¢??t seem to find this gun with adjustable air pressure so as not to damage the aluminum skins. Out of stock everywhere. Tried a few rivets with it and it works great! Solid set. Thank you Aircraft Spruce.
Blaine F 11.03.2020	I gave this 4 stars because the regulator does not work at all. Meaning there is no difference to the tool regardless of the regulator setting. I use the regulator I have on my compressor. Other than that it works very well.
