I have used this product before and have had good results. This time, instead of using in my airplane, it is for a mattress in a camping trailer, Two inch thick regular foam just is not firm enough. But this product is much firmer and is really good for this application.

Do not get it sent USPS. It was packed too tightly in a box too small and permanently creased/thinned out the product.

Product not only really helps with sound it helps with temperature control as well. I could tell such a big improvement in our bonanza with sound/heat from the summer months that we are currently putting it in our Cessna.

Product is fine, but not for my application. I replaced my cabin floor carpet with a sheet vinyl product. Purchased this product for sound absorption and cushioning. Two complaints for my carpet underlayment application: 1. foam is closed-cell = expansion at altitude = sheet vinyl floor curls at altitude 2. very soft and easily torn. Rounded screw heads on inspection plates are causing damage. It is not going to last long, and I am going to end up looking for an open cell foam.

Easy to work with! Cut then peal and stick into place. we used the 1 thick matt on our bonanza and it is sooo much quiter and i also believe it really helped out with the cabin temperature. Taxing around in the Hot texas heat i could tell a big difference in how much cooler the cabin temps were.

Material is very easy to work with and is very light. I ordered it rolled and after an hour or so the material was flat and ready to cut and install. It will expand a little once installed. It definitely helps to attenuate the sound inside the cockpit. Even though is light, it is strong enough for you to work with it without damaging the material once is cut and trimmed.

Used the 3/8 material to sound deaden the inside stainless steel metal of my Rancilio Silvia espresso machine. This material cut the sound of the noisy water pump in half! Best of all it is water proof and wont absorb and smell over time. Ive had this installed for several years and the adhesive has not come loose. Looking to get more of this stuff to help sound proof road noise from the doors in my car too!

Very pleased with this product. Easy to work with and the sticky side holds tight but still allows you to remove it if attached to aluminum. I tested its burn factor and was impressed it did not produce a flame when exposed to a high temperature torch. The material glowed red and gave off a little smoke.

This product is very soft so it is easily damaged both during installation and then while it is installed if it is not covered. In other words, it can get snagged, or a hole punched, or a piece can tear off relatively easily if it is in a spot that makes contact with objects that can mar it.

Material is very easy to work with and stays exactly where you put it. I highly recommend carefully and repeatedly dry fitting this in areas you are going to install it. It has a nice cushion feel as well. Dont bother asking for the folded option mentioned on the order site as it comes rolled

The product was damaged, Im using it anyways.

Excellent product. Works as advertised. Beware if you order the 50â?? in the rolled position it is approximately 4 ft tall by 2 ft wide and weighs 38 pounds

I have used the 1� thick matt before and it was easy to use....this is the 1/2� matt so it should be even better....the product is so easy to use and makes a world of difference on sound deadening.

This is a great product. I am building a home recording studio and this was an excellent product to soundproof various areas from ducting to pvc pipes and even over copper pipes. It dampens the sound quite well which is exactly what I wanted.

Product was back ordered and arrived months after the planned date The material was an open cel foam not the smooth closed cell type that I wanted Iâ??m concerned that this material will retain moisture

Works great and high quality material. I was worried that the peel and stick adhesive material would not be strong enough but it was excellent and worked very well. The 3/8 thickness was pretty thick, would have been better off using the 1/4 thick material but it wasnt in stock.
