Fits my dog perfectly. I was worried she might not cooperate with this but no problem. They appear well made.

My dog doesnt seem to mind them at all. He doesnt try to take them off, and he cant seem to hear much when theyre on. He didnt mind flying in the plane without ear protection (he just slept the whole time) but I figured adding some hearing protection would be best for him.

We got XS for our 7 pound mutt (a mix of who knows what hes actually such a dorky looking dog that hes cute). Anyway, they fit very well on him. He did paw at them initially, but now hes happy to wear them and sits obediently while I put them on him and seems to be happy with them on for long trips.

The most reported problem is that they won't stay on the dog. We had this problem, but found the solution in an account of a scientific study of dogs that used MRI. If you've been in a MRI machine, you know it is LOUD. Nothing will keep muffs on if they want them off, but our dog was pretty easy to train to leave them on. 1. Train dog to accept them with a big bag of doggie treats. Start out showing the muffs to the dog, give a treat. Put on head briefly, maybe just around their neck. give a treat. Put on for increasing periods as tolerated, give a treat. Spread it over several days until their tail wags happily when they see the muffs. When actively using on a flight, be sure to have a bag of treats and give a few when you take it off, immediately upon exiting the plane. 2. Once trained to accept the muffs: Get a roll or two of 2 wide white Johnson & Johnson self-adhesive wrap (or equivalent, but this works well and can be reused several times). Start on the muff on one side and wrap once, minimal stretching. Continue behind one side and cross over to front, go under chin and cross over to back. Do a complete turn on the back (or two) as they slip back. Probably will have to experiment with your dog to find the best wrap. Our mutt was about 13 lbs. It looks like they had recent brain surgery, but it works Follow the same training procedure, i.e. wrap, leave for increasing periods, treat. May have to start the wrap early in the training period to keep them on.

Not really impressed. Didnâ??t seem to fit my vizsla well, possibly because of the really short hair. I donâ??t believe they are providing much if any protection. Iâ??m keeping them because I figured out I can glue four of the foam earplugs together and stick them down in the dogs ears. The ear muffs are good for keeping the dog from being able to shake the plugs out.

I use the mutt muffs when I velocity dry my 5 dogs after a bath. I have No issue with the dogs taking them off!

Fix is good. Easy to adjust and put on the dog. When we tested them at home, she had them off in seconds, But, in the plane she happily leaves them in place. From that, I take it that they work and she appreciates them.

It is cheaply made. It doesnâ??t sit well to the shape of a dogâ??s head and in order to tighten it, so that it would stay on, I would have to choke my dog. Unfortunately a complete waste of money and I will be unable to use them at all.

The muffs are just as described, seem to be made so that they will protect the dogs hearing from the noise. They are adjustable and fit fairly well. I am satisfied and would recommend them for pets hearing protection.

I bought these for my border collie who is afraid of most loud noises. He tolerates them well and seems to get some relief from the anxiety. He can still hear the noise, just not as much. I am pleased with the mutt muffs because they fit well and seem comfortable.

The headphones arrived fast. Very well made and they look adorable on my furbaby. Unfortunately they donâ??t help with the constant loud boom of The never ending fireworks and or other explosions going on here in a Philadelphia. I will unfortunately have to return them. Vet prescribed a sedative hopefully it will work as the holiday weekend is coming up.
