The Vizion autopilot is fully featured and includes connectivity to both handheld and panel-mounted GPS units. Approved for certified aircraft on the Approved Model List, the unit can track flight plans, hold altitude, climb and descent at selected vertical speeds, and allow altitude select/pre-select while also preventing overspeed and underspeed and offering an emergency level button.

I added this autopilot to my 1977 Cessna 177B Cardinal, coupled to an Avidyne IFD-450 GPS COM and it works Absolutely Perfect. Id like to thank all involved with bringing this Vision Autopilot. It is the Best buy in General Aviation.

Excellent Autopilot very smooth with rate of climb or descent selection and programmed altitude capture. GPSS is smooth and accurate locks onto GPS/LPV approaches capturing the GPS glidepath. All ILSâ??s are now overplayed with the GPS LPV if using a WAAS GPS unit such as the Garmin 400W/500 series nav unit or GTN series. Non WAAS units require setting a descent rate using the rate knob to descend.

Ответ:This unit requires GPS data to drive the autopilot and cannot use the signal direct from a CDI. When connected to an appropriate WAAS GPS the autopilot will track the vertical and lateral guidance on LPV approaches.
