Great headset! I was afraid these would not block the noise enough for my noisy cockpit. I was wrong! Best I have tried in 45 years of flying including ANR types. . Best of all, the audio is wonderfully clear. Sounds like I have new radios. I am impressed.

I have used these headsets for years in moderately noisy cockpits and love them. You cant beat them in hot weather. Much cooler than heavy muff style headsets. Have used them commercially and recreationally.

The jury is still out on my new Clarity headset. The sound is excellent. The ear fit is almost excellent, but still allows a lot of low freq. thrum to come thru, compared to active noise canceling headset (I fly a PC12 with a big, turbine engine out front). The comfort of the Claritys is still in question. They feel different than full cover headsets, and Im not sure if I like it or not - still using them to see how well I adjust.

Wonderful headset! Eliminates wind â??drummingâ? when used in my open cockpit biplane. Equals ANR in my noisy closed cabin single. Way more comfortable than my over-the-ear headset. Very clear audio.

12 years with this headset, ( 6 with updated earpiece version) and I couldnt wear anything else. Perfect in my Grumman. Recently, was flying night skydiving ops in a Shorts Skyvan...6 hours, 8 loads. This is a very noisy aircraft, with two Garrett engines. I swapped my spare Bose A20 for a flight and again found the CAs to have better overall noise reduction and comfort. First off, the speaker is planted right into your ear canal, so you hear the sound directly, and dont need to turn up the volume inside the headset to compensate. The expanding foam earpiece is very sealing, especially when fresh, and properly inserted. The mic is sharp and clear, and with the clear direct audio, you dont feel like youre hearing the processed sound from a distance. With a little careful light bending of the frame, getting accustomed to, and customizing the fit, youll find these to be your best choice. You just have to give them some time. Ive wrapped mine with some padding to customize the fit. Once you get accustomed to not having your head clamped in a headset, youll never be able to tolerate a headset again. My retailer told me I could return them if I didnt like them...so what have you got to lose. One of the best aviation products I have ever bought...and I hate a lot of them.

Purchased for my wife as she does not like the over ear/ ear muff type headsets. The Clarity was recommended by the wife of a good friend who also dislikes the ear muff style. We both fly radial engined cabin biplanes. My wife was pleased with the fit and comfort and had no difficulty fitting the ear plugs to her ears. I tried the headset and was impressed with the passive noise canceling capability. Im still happy with my old David Clark H-10-40 but would definitely consider the Clarity as a replacement. Good product.
