Overview
| The DUC spinners are carried out in preimpregnated carbon fiber materials with on the surface woven carbon fabric. The mounting plate, entirely out of carbon, thickness 0.12" (3mm), is produced with the Carbon Forge® process, also used for the manufacture of the DUC propeller hubs. This patented process makes it possible to increase considerably the mechanical characterestics of the composite parts. The DUC Standard spinner is available in different sizes to fit with many aircraft engine bonnet:
Important Note: The mounting plate presents a shift of 0.24" (6mm) towards the interior between its support face and the base of the DUC spinner 8.3" or 9.8". |
