| Fixed Wing Preheat Kit with Battery Heat ? 230 Volt for Cessna 208 with PT6a-140(A) engines. Engine preheating is accomplished through electrical resistance heat in the form of thin pads sized and shaped to fit various parts. The pads are surface mounted with a bonding sealant/adhesive. Heated items include, engine accessory/reduction gearboxes, fluids, batteries and attached accessories. Power is routed to the heat elements through a dedicated wiring assembly with power indication and circuit overload protection. System is self-regulating through design. Heated components reach an average state of thermal equilibrium in approximately six hours. This preheat kit when installed will supply 555 watts with a 2.4 amp draw at 230 volts. NOTE: This kit is not eligible for an 8130-3. |
