| Trig makes the world?s smallest and lightest certified GA transponders. The TT22 Trig compact transponder can fit into the tightest panel space. This allows general aviation, light sport and glider pilots to fit other instrumentation or displays that otherwise might not have been possible. The TT22 is a class 1 transponder suitable for use in higher performance aircraft flying above 15,000 feet and / or above 175 knots.
The TT22 transponder is easy to operate and with a crisp, bright display it is also easy to read in all lighting conditions. The higher powered TT22 can be used in IFR and VFR flight in high performance aircraft, over 175 knots and/or above 15,000 feet. The transponder control head is splash proof too so it?s ideal for open cockpit and seaplane operations. Mode A and C transponders are now being replaced by Mode S technology which is optimised for tomorrow?s airspace requirements. Despite its modest size the TT22 is a heavyweight performer, at 250 watts nominal power output this class 1 transponder meets the latest FAA TSO C166b standards for ADS-B Out. Trig were the first company in the world to offer a ?mandate ready? certified 1090ES ADS-B Out compliant solution. The TT22 is popular in the U.S. where a certified WAAS GPS, and a ground air determination device are also required forming the ideal 2020 ADS-B solution.
